Palace hold key to Utd's promotion ambition

Utd must win. Simple as. A draw would take Utd level with Birmingham and ahead on goal difference but whatever the outcome of the Reading v Birmingham game one side or the other will overtake Sheffield.

So a win for the Blades is their only hope and then they must hope Birmingham do not beat Reading. Should the Blues emerge from the Madejski victorious then Utd will miss out whatever they do.
