Palace chairman Simon Jordan has confirmed that he has rejected an £8m bid from Bolton for star striker Andrew Johnson.

Jordan also said he had received two other bids for the player – from Wigan and Everton – but that Bolton's was the highest.

The chairman commented that he considered AJ to have a value of £20m – but added that he was probably in ‘a minority of one' in holding that opinion.
