Neil Danns, Owen Garvan and David Wright will return to the Crystal Palace squad for the trip to Barnsley. Danns missed Palace's first two games this term as he served a suspension held over from last season and fellow midfielder Garvan was on international duty with the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad in midweek. Full-back Wright also sat out the opening-day win over Leicester and Tuesday's Carling Cup victory at Yeovil due to a hamstring injury sustained in pre-season but he is now fit and in line for his debut. Summer signing Adam Barrett replaced Claude Davis at centre-half in midweek and could keep his place. Winger Sean Scannell and defender Lee Hills remain on the sidelines with knee injuries.
