Palace v Coventry. Team news

Last updated : 18 September 2007 By Dan Clough

Fellow midfielder Isaac Osbourne (knee) and striker Michael Mifsud (stomach) continue to struggle with the problems that ruled them out against Bristol City on Saturday.

Crystal Palace boss Peter Taylor is sweating over the fitness of defender Matt Lawrence.

The 33-year-old missed the 1-0 defeat to Norwich on Saturday with a groin injury and is a doubt for the Eagles once again.

Winger Mark Kennedy also missed the Norwich game with a calf injury and he will definitely miss out against Iain Dowie's Sky Blues at Selhurst Park.

Fellow midfielder Ben Watson has been out of action since suffering an ankle injury against Bristol Rovers in the Carling Cup last month and is likely to remain on the sidelines.

Winger Paul Ifill came on as a substitute against Charlton two weeks ago, but has suffered a hamstring injury and will miss out.

Palace are currently on a run of three consecutive defeats and Taylor will be eager for his side to pick up a result.
