Palace get a break from a torrid Premiership season with tonight’s Carling Cup game at home to Hartlepool.
Andy Johnson picked up a knock towards the end of last Saturday’s match against Manchester City and will be rested for tonight. His place will likely be taken by Nicola Ventola, who showed some class after coming on as a sub last weekend.
Another high-profile name out of the team is Mark Hudson. Rocky tweaked his ankle on Saturday and will also be rested. His absence should give Tony Popovic the opportunity to reclaim his place at the back.
