Palace v Preston: FA Cup team news preview

Last updated : 26 January 2007 By Nik Taylor

Palace will be without new signing Dave Martin for tomorrow's fourth round tie as the midfielder is cup-tied after appearing in the preliminary rounds for non-league Dartford.

However, the other January arrival, Paul Ifill, is set for a full match after boss Peter Taylor hinted that he would hand the winger 90 minutes if he can prove his fitness in training.

There are no new injury or suspension problems for Taylor, so it just remains to be seen whether he fancies mixing it up a bit with a tough away trip to Sunderland coming up on Tuesday.

Preston have a few missing – including Eagles old boy Carlo Nash. The keeper wants out of Deepdale, and sits out the match due to a hamstring injury. Nippy striker Patrick Agyemang is also out for North End – though Taylor's summer transfer target David Nugent will play.

Probable Palace XI:
