Palace v Wolves - Team news preview

Peter Taylor will be hoping to build on last weekend's destruction of play-off wannabes Preston as Mick McCarthy's Wolves come to town.

Things are improving slightly on the injury front, with Jobi McAnuff and Ben Watson both available after sitting out Easter Monday's reverse at Stoke.

Longer term casualties Stuart Green, Dougie Freedman and Michael Hughes remain spectators, while Darren Ward takes time out from sitting on the bench to join the list of injured.

All eyes will be on Shefki Kuqi to continue where he left off against Preston, after the Finn blasted Palace's boo boys for giving him a hard time over his record of eight goals from 35 appearances this season.

Wolves will be bang up for it as they desperately try to defend their fifth place, and they should have back keeper Matt Murray while midfield general Jackie McNamara continues his recovery from injury.

Former Eagle Rob Edwards is missing for them, as is striker Carl Cort. Wolves won't mind though as they'll have Jay Bothroyd up front. Palace nearly signed him in the summer - so he's a banker to shin one past us at some point.
