Iain Dowie returns to his former club at Loftus Road tonight leading an injury-stricken Palace side.
Aki Riihlahti is expected to be available once more, but Mikele Leigertwood, Jon Macken, Andrew Johnson, Tony Popovic and Danny Granville are all ruled out of the clash.
However, all five could be back to full fitness in time for Palace’s next match, away to Coventry on October 15th.
QPR have Tommy Doherty and Paul Furlong back after they completed suspensions, but Kevin Gallen is rated 50-50 to return after missing the last five games with a hamstring injury.
