Reading linked with striker swoop

Reading are believed to be interested in signing Palace striker Clinton Morrison during the January transfer window.

Morrison returned to Palace from Birmingham last season, but has struggled to find consistent form.

Reading boss Steve Coppell worked with Morrison during his time at Palace, and it is thought he sees the Irishman as a useful replacement for injury prone Dave Kitson.
