Reich injury blow

Midfielder Marco Reich will be out for at least a month after breaking his arm during the New Year's Day victory over Norwich.

Reich had been starting to re-establish himself in the starting line-up, but was forced off at half time on Monday.

Palace boss Peter Taylor confirmed the injury will keep the German on the sidelines for some time.

"Marco has got a little crack in his arm, so he's going to be out for about four weeks,” he said.

Taylor also revealed that Garry Borrowdale and Danny Granville will both be missing for the next few games, giving him a headache at left back.

"Gary Borrowdale is going across to Germany to have a hernia operation, so he probably won't be available until the Hull game [on 20th January],” Taylor said.

"Danny's got a hamstring problem which we can't get to the bottom of at the minute. He's had a scan and it's not a tear, but he's not feeling comfortable."
