Rumour round-up: Taylor keen on West Ham starlet

Latest rumours: Peter Taylor has confirmed his interest in West Ham youngster Hogan Ephraim. The 19-year-old striker is believed to be available on a season-long loan. However, Taylor says nothing has happened yet.

Taylor also says Palace will make a maximum of one further signing before the start of the season. Speaking to the Croydon Guardian, he said: "There's a chance I can bring in one more player, but I'm still looking and talking."

Still bubbling under: Taylor may return to old club Hull city for his former assistant manager, Colin Murphy. Taylor insists contact has not been made yet, but admits the move is a possibility.

Off the boil: Tom Soares and Ben Watson will stay with the club, despite rumours linking the pair with moves to the Premiership.

The rumoured loan move for Chelsea's Scott Sinclair is off. It's believed the young striker, who scored a wonder goal against Palace while on loan at Plymouth last season, could have been loaned to the Eagles but that the move stumbled over wages.
