Rumour round-up: Watson linked with Premiership move

Latest rumours: Ben Watson is the latest Palace player to be linked with a move. Various sources say Middlesbrough, Manchester City and Bolton all have eyes for the youngster.

Palace are interested in signing keeper Jason Brown from Blackburn, for a fee in the region of £500,000.


Still bubbling under: Peter Taylor needs a replacement for Darren Ward after the player moved to Wolves. Benfica's Jose Fonte continues to be a target.


Off the boil: Tom Soares is going nowhere, according to Peter Taylor. The England U21 midfielder had been linked with a £1m move to Leicester, but Taylor denies any intention of cashing in.
