Palace striker Sandor Torghelle will recover from a midweek international injury in time to make his home debut on Saturday.

Eagles fans looked on with concern as Torghelle limped off the pitch during the first half of Hungary’s win over Scotland.

The striker appeared to fall awkwardly when battling for the ball with Scottish defender Andy Webster , and was subbed shortly afterwards. But Torghelle is confident he’ll be fit to face Everton at the weekend.

"Fortunately my leg injury is not serious although I was a bit worried when the Scottish defender slid in," said Torghelle. "Later it felt okay and the doctor reassured me that there was no problem."

"Hopefully, I will be absolutely alright for the weekend because I would like to make a good debut at Selhurst Park."
