Saturday's match beats the chill

Saturday’s home match against Wimbledon will definitely go ahead, the club has confirmed.

However, tonight’s reserves fixture against Cambridge United, which was also to have been played at Selhurst Park, has been postponed.

That’s because the pitch is currently covered up, with Palace bringing in heaters to ensure the surface remains playable for Saturday.

The club confirmed, "There is no question of Saturday’s game against our former tenants being postponed due to the weather."

Hopefully, this will enable the Eagles’ great run of form to continue against bottom-of-the-table Dons.
