Iain Dowie has joined the growing list of managers showing an interest in Southend’s midfield star Luke Guttridge.
The 23-year-old has been with the Shrimpers for less than a year, but has been an influential figure in the side as they’ve battled to the upper reaches of League One.
Guttridge's agent Richard Cody said: "Luke was injured and that coincided with Southend's losing run. He came back in the side and he's made a massive impact.
"Subsequently there are an awful lot of people looking at him. Southend are obviously concerned that people are looking at him because their priority is promotion.
"He is very happy there but something could happen this month. Derby have shown a lot of interest, along with Crystal Palace. West Ham have also been looking at him and Charlton have never lost interest."
