Loggerheads: Pulis and Steve Parish (right) have had disagreements this season over Palace¿s transfer policyIt's been a quiet transfer window thus far for the Eagles in terms of new signings. With 17 players exiting the club on either permenant basis or on loan some fans are nervously awaiting the arrival of new signings before the new season starts.

The Eagles have added three new signings to the squad with Frazier Campbell arriving from Cardiff for £900k and Brede Hangeland and Chris Kettings both arriving as free agents. Tony Pulis has expressed his delight at the arrival of 'some quality players' to the squad but fans and Steve Parish alike are hoping that the club is able to bring in some more faces to strengthen the squad.

When interviewed recently, Parish told Sky Sports News: "We have a bid in for a player tonight. We've had permission to talk to the player. We are very close to personals with the player. Hopefully he will be down for a medical tomorrow and with any luck we'll get him in the squad for Saturday."

The Eagles will travel to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal in their opening game of the Premier League campaign on Saturday.
