Crystal Palace are in talks with Liverpool for Harvey Elliott, as they search for a replacement for Eberechi Eze, who joined Arsenal last week.
It could well be that a deal is struck allowing Marc Guehi to make a move to Anfield in return, but only if Palace can find a replacewment centre-back.
They are currently being linked with Juventus' Lloyd Kelly and Toulouse's Jaydee Canvot.
