Taylor content with Bromley draw

Palace boss Peter Taylor is happy with what he has seen from his side so far this pre-season, despite watching the Eagles scrape a 2-2 draw at Bromley on Saturday.

The Eagles were 2-1 down until the 90th minute, when Stuart Green rescued a draw with a rifled shot.

However, Taylor experimented with a number of youngsters and saw Palace have the best of large chunks of the game.

"It was another good work out, everyone played 45 minutes and we haven't picked up any injuries," Taylor told the official site.

"In the first half we had a couple of decent opportunities that we didn't take and we started the second half brightly and got a goal.

"They hit us with two great goals though, although we weren't happy defensively with them but we kept going and deserved the equaliser at the end.

"I was pleased for Stuart Green because he's had two very good 45 minute sets and we were happy with some of the younger players who have been involved.

"We now have a busy week, with Aldershot, Dartford and Barnet coming up and we'll continue to work hard in between."
