Taylor Frustrated

Leon Cort had put Palace ahead on 57 minutes with a 20-yard strike, but Michael Turner equalised for the home side with just seconds remaining at The KC Stadium.

"To concede so late on as we did is always disappointing," the Palace boss said after the match.

"My goalkeeper feels as though he was fouled, I wasn't absolutely convinced but I'll have a look at the video.

"Overall I know we can play a lot better than that and can create a lot more chances, and therefore a draw was probably a fair result.

"I think the reception that our players got was very good, there's always going to be a few boos because they want to unsettle the opposition.

"I thought Leon Cort took his goal exceptionally well, he was brave to hit it where he did.

"It felt very strange to come back to the KC Stadium, and I would have enjoyed the day more if we'd won but I had three-and-a-half years here and the club still means a lot to me."
