According to The Mirror (in a notably quote-free piece), Steve Bruce fancies taking the top English goalscorer back to St. Andrews – with former Eagle Clinton Morrison returning to Selhurst in a reversal of 2002’s transfer deal between the clubs.
If this is the most believable AJ rumour the press can come up with, it seems we’ll have no trouble keeping hold of our man.
