Ipswich Town’s sale of the family silver looks set to continue with Tommy Miller expected to be next to leave the Tractor Boys. Palace are one of a trio of clubs to be linked with the midfielder by the BBC – the other interested parties reported as being Sunderland and Leeds. However, Ipswich haven’t given up on retaining the services of the 26-year-old for themselves when his contract expires this summer.
Palace are also reported to be among a clutch of clubs interested in signing former Fulham man Lee Clark. The experienced midfielder has come to the end of his Craven Cottage contract and has not been offered a new one.
Among the older rumours that are still trundling along, the most promising looks to be the whisper that Arsenal 18-year-old Ryan Smith will come to Selhurst Park on a season-long loan.
