Transfer rumours have been flying around thick and fast since the end of the season, and Palace are being linked with stacks of players.
Here’s our round-up of the pick of the rumours currently doing the rounds, in descending order of likelihood. Take ‘em all with a pinch of salt, but don’t be surprised to see more than a couple come off…
Julian Gray is set to turn down the offer of a new deal at Selhurst Park, and will instead link up with former boss Steve Bruce at Birmingham.
Iain Dowie will renew his interest in Fulham defender Mark Hudson and sign the player within the next fortnight.
Palace are looking to snap up Barnet’s teen sensation Ishmail Yakubu. The 18-year-old left-sided midfielder is also a target for Arsenal and Manchester City.
Former Chelsea striker Tore Andre Flo is being lined up as a replacement for Neil Shipperley. The forward currently plies his trade with Italian Serie A club Siena, for whom he scored eight goals last season…
…although Ships’ place could instead be under threat from Kevin Kyle, who impressed Iain Dowie in the play-off semi-finals.
Martin Keown has already been approached by Palace to shore up the defence in the Premiership next season…
