Iain Dowie sealed the transfers of Nicola Ventola and Gonzalo Sorondo from Inter Milan, as well as Wayne Andrews from Colchester.
Uruguayan defender Sorondo, 24, has signed on a one-year deal and will compete with Danny Granville for the left-back position.
The 26-year-old Ventola is a striker who has previously played for the Italian Under-21 side. He has scored 21 goals for Inter and has also signed on a one-year deal.
The third signing is of 26-year old striker Wayne Andrews. He joins the club on a two-year contract. Andrews was top-scorer for Colchester last season with 11 goals. Gareth Williams has moved to Layer Road as part of the deal.
