Warnock not under pressure to sell

"I have not been told I have to sell players," he said.

"It was a meeting we have every few months and we just talked about general things that's all.

"We all know it is difficult at the minute financially so I was just seeing if I could help and what needed to be done."

Stories have also come out suggesting out of contract trio Shaun Derry, Clint Hill and Danny Butterfield had been given permission to start talking to other clubs but Warnock denied this as well.

"I have not given them permission to talk to anyone," he said.

"We have got to know where we are before we offer contracts but they know I want them to stay.

"I am not too concerned about that at the moment though and they are footballers so will look after themselves either way."
