Palace’s reserve side bounced back to top form against Portsmouth on Tuesday with an impressive 3-1 away win.

The Eagles took an early two goal lead, with strike pairing Neil Shipperley and Wayne Andrews both getting on the score-sheet within the first 20 minutes.

Though Pompey got one back early in the second half, there was no way back for them and youngster Louis Grabban finished the game off with a goal two minutes from time.

Palace are now fifth out of fifteen teams in the Barclays Premiership Reserve League – and are only six points behind leaders Tottenham, with two games in hand.
