Dougie Freedman notched two goals as a hugely experienced Palace side overwhelmed QPR on Tuesday night.
The match was the first for new reserve team manager Jon Goodman, and he took the opportunity to field a side full of first-team names. The strong line-up proved too much for a Rangers side made up largely of youth-team players.
Palace’s other goals came from Gary Borrowdale and James Gibson, with QPR’s consolation coming from Scott Donnelly
