Palace romped to an easy win at non-league Whyteleafe this evening. Palace took a full first team squad in order to give a run out to everyone. Palace led
2-0 at the break through Freedman and Black, and second half goals from Johnson (Pen) and a Gareth Williams hat trick gave us a comfortable win. Neil Shipperley started the match, having agreed terms to re-join and Michael Hughes also featured as a second half substitute. Hughes looked impressive as he tries to win himself a contract having missed all of last season because of a contract dispute between Wimbledon and Birmingham.
