Bulykin on brink of signing

Russian international striker Dmitri Bulykin has travelled to London this week to seal a move to Palace.

The Eagles stepped in when Bolton’s offer of a loan deal was rejected by the player’s club, Dinamo Moscow.

And 29-year-old Bulykin is confident he can agree terms with the Eagles for a permanent transfer.

"It is possible my contract will be signed by January 14," said Bulykin.

"I know the club is 17th in the table and it is fighting to stay in the Premier League, but I want to help them in this fight."

Bulykin scored for Russia in last summer’s Euro 2004 Championships and is a big centre-forward type player, in the same mould as Neil Shipperley or Sandor Torghelle.
