The 30-year-old striker, who has spent the best part of five years at Selhurst Park, has been offered a new two-year deal at the club.

"Myself, my agent and the club are still talking and it has gone well so far," Freedman told Palace's official website.

"I have been offered a two-year deal which I am very pleased with.

"There are a couple of things in the contract I have to decide on but I don't see any problems."
