Gareth Southgate is ready to hand full England debuts to both Marc Guehi and Kyle Walker-Peters, who are expected to start Saturday's friendly against Switzerland.
21-year-old Guehi was named in Southgate's original squad as a reward for his impressive performances in his first season with Crystal Palace, while Walker-Peters was called up following the withdrawals of both Trent Alexander-Arnold and Reece James through injury.
They won't be waiting long for their first taste of action as Sky Sports News state that both Guehi and Walker-Peters will be named in Southgate's starting lineup for Saturday's friendly.
It could be a busy few days for Walker-Peters as the 24-year-old Southampton man is the only natural right-back in Southgate's squad for this international break, in which England will also welcome the Ivory Coast to Wembley.
Guehi's Palace team-mate, Tyrick Mitchell, is expected to make his debut in one of the new two fixtures, rotating with Luke Shaw at left-back as the Manchester United man has only recently recovered from Covid-19.
The Daily Mail have previously stated that Jordan Pickford will keep his place in goal and Jordan Henderson will start in midfield.
Up top, Harry Kane is expected to get the nod as he seeks to close the gap on Wayne Rooney as England's all-time top goalscorer.
