Warnock has already loaned in three players since taking over as Palace boss, and says he has at least one more target that he expects to sign before Saturday's game against Colchester.
Shaun Derry, Clint Hill and Franck Songo'o have all signed temporary deals with Palace under Warnock's stewardship. In addition, Palace also have Liverpool's Besian Idrizaj and Manchester City's Paul Dickov on loan from Peter Taylor's time in charge.
The manager's latest target is believed to be a young striker from the Irish Premier League.
