JOHN Oster makes his first return to Selhurst Park tomorrow - and says he should not get a rough reception from home fans even though he is chasing money he is still owed from the Eagles.
The 30-year-old winger joined Doncaster in the summer but reported Palace to the PFA because he had not been paid some of his salary, leading to the club being hit with a transfer embargo.
But Oster says that Palace fans should not take their frustration about the club's financial problems out on him. He said: "If Simon Jordan signs a contract and I sign a contract that he's offered me, why am I the bad guy if he doesn't honour it? It's nothing to do with me.
