Powell In Reading Talks

Royals boss Steve Coppell has confirmed that he plans further talks with the 29-year-old out-of-contract Palace defender although he insists that no offer as yet been made.

"Darren has only just returned from holiday and I'll be talking to him again soon," said Coppell.

"We haven't made a concrete offer as such, we're just talking things through at the moment."
